I started this blog for those who are feeling cynical, tired of politics as usual, tired of the “end always justifying the means”, tired of watching the incestuous political environments – because there is hope.  America will rediscover its greatness.

America is great because of the ideals that bond this most diverse nation.  Ideals that let us celebrate diversity of culture, of thought, of religion, of politics.  For many generations we served as a beacon for the world, not with the strength of our military or economic might, but with the strength of out ideas of freedom, democracy and social justice.

Over the past few decades we have lost this path.  We have focused on our power of arms and money, not the power of ideas and ideals - but there is hope.

There is a candidate for President that transcends the rhetoric of the past.  A candidate that looks beyond to challenge us, to once a again regain the strength of our humility and the power of our justice.  A candidate of great abilities with humble roots.  A candidate with vision and courage well beyond his simple stature.

This candidate is Barack Obama.

I encourage you to get involved, help move America forward, help bring about meaningful change, help elect Barack Obama President so as we face the challenges of our economy, our environment, our poor, our security, our future - we are doing so with the best this country can offer.
